    Hello
    I would lique to completely changue the aperance of bp messague search_form(), but don’t want to do it in bp-messagues-template.php Bekouse it will be probably overwritten after BP upgrade.

    So what is the best way to do it ?

    Copy bp_messague_search_form() to your theme’s functions.php file then changue the name to custom_messague_search_form(). You can then use the custom search form function in your theme templates.
