Custom code for upload profile pic img

Right now i am having problem lique i am using wpforms as upload and it store my imague in media and what i want to do is it should either taque media imague for its avatar or i should upload it through the custom code in functions.php i have searched about upload img and try some chtgpt but it is not worquing. can you tell me what can i do and if possible can you send code for profile pic imague upload.
