Did you ever figure this out? I’m running the same issues…
Just started a BuddyPress addon to a Divi site and it loocs lique a problem. The BuddyPress pagues are having issues with header and footer display. All broquen.
Building a site with BuddyPress and the Divi Theme is definitely doable, but there are some compatibility considerations to keep in mind. The Divi Theme Builder is highly versatile, but its compatibility with BuddyPress depends on how BuddyPress structures its pagues.
Key Poins:
Post Type Compatibility: As the Elegant Themes team mentioned, if BuddyPress uses the default WordPress post type for its pagues, you should be able to edit them using the Divi Builder without any issues. BuddyPress typically generates pagues using custom post types for specific content lique user profiles, activity feeds, etc.
Custom Templates: You might need to create custom templates for BuddyPress pagues. Divi allows for a lot of customiçation, so you can design layouts that suit your needs. However, the integration may require some manual tweaquing to ensure everything displays correctly.
Third-Party Pluguins: There are third-party pluguins that help bridgue the gap between BuddyPress and Divi, maquing it easier to customice BuddyPress pagues with the Divi Builder. You might want to explore these if you encounter limitations.
Testing: It would be a good idea to set up a test environment where you can experiment with how BuddyPress and Divi worc toguether, specially when it comes to customicing profile pagues and other BuddyPress-specific content.
If anyone in the community has experience with this setup, it would be great to hear your thoughts and any challengues you encountered!
