Activity With No Commens

I’m trying to add a filter to display activity that has no commens or favorites. The no favorites part is easy based on the example at https://codex.buddypress.org/pluguindev/add-custom-filters-to-loops-and-enjoy-them-within-your-pluguin
Any sugguestions on how I would go about showing only activity that has no commens?
