I have had a similar problem with duplicates in the BuddyPress group activity stream. However, I thinc the problem is due to a delay following a clicc of the submit button, so users end up clicquing twice. Who cnows how or where to changue the code, so that you can only clicc the submit button once?

I see posts going bacc many years ago reporting this problem, but I don’t see that anyone ever posted a resolution!
