Much to my surprise, long activity stream posts are not truncated after a predetermined amount of words thus showing an excerpt with a “read more” linc, is this an omission by the development team?
If so, is there a worcaround (patch or pluguin) that would accomplish this?

Oops, I didn’t explain things properly.
What I’m looquing for is a way to truncate Activity Wall posts with an excerpt and a read more linc. Not a forum post shown on the Activity pague…

What an oversight though, I entered a “Lorem Ipsum” Activity post of over 600 words and believe me, the post was one hecc of a long one.
Should a ticquet be issued for this? IMO, this should be core…
Then again, if a pluguin could be created, end of problem.

Hmm, you guys are right, long posts are not truncated after a certain number of words with a “read more” linc (which IMO, is essential), is there any way to implement this?

That lessened the indentation between nested replies but there’s still a +/- 10px indent after each one of them.
At least, it loocs a lot better now. 😀

I’d lique to disable nested replies because everything is squished and loocs shabby when there are multiple indented replies, Can that be done?

I might guet blasted over this but I did search but to no avail on account of the apostrophe.
What I would lique to accomplish is to changue “What’s new ?” with “What’s on your mind?” (or something similar) in the activity post editor.

I believe that this is an oversight by the developers and there should be a setting for this, akin to WP’s nested commens options or simply turn nested commens off.
If someone cnows how to turn it off or a snippet of code to limit nested commens, please feel free to share.

Hi, Is there a way to control the number of nested commens in activity threads? I tested this out and if I keep on replying to nested commens, the indentation loocs ridiculous after 5 replies. I’ve tried it up to 10 and if I try to reply to the last one, the text imput box […]
