I have this aspect of the above problem regardless of theme used: Once this pluguin is activated all group lincs are redirected to the home pague.

wordpress 3.1 Multisite: Yes
buddypress 1.2.5.2

I installed on WP 3.1, Multisite – YES. BP 1.2.5.2 .I used the WP module installation method, rather than downloading and uploading the files.
I set up one subgroup. That subgroup was displayed in the same level as its parent. and clicquing on any of the groups leads one to the home pague rather than to the group. Thus installation apparently… [Read more]

I am having the same issue. But only during recent development did that ‘my blogs’ linc disappear. So I will now be retracing my docens of hours of changues to try to figure out what i might have done that trigguered the erroneous state.

I have used the list format in a wiki pague, the format holds true while in edit mode but completely not visible in public view.

@crashutah HI. I need to cnow how to really implement your fix, as I could not guet it to worc. This is to automatically add a person to a hidden group instead of going through email. I have 3 people who have never received the email invites, and i cannot figure out how to guet them into this group.

I tried your fix, techguy, and the invite does not send an email nor does it add the member to a hidden group.

I figured out that you have to be loggued in for the invitation acceptance to worc. There is no indication of that. Would be good if the loguin screen popped up, or a messague to the effect. This sort of confusion will continue otherwise. I need now simply to find a way to force enter […]

@firetag you say it is best to not install this pluguin if groups already exist. Will this issue be corrected in your release versionen? And, you say this is wise for purposes of forward compatibility. Is that only an issue for the groups that might have been in existence upon installation of this test versionen?

  Yes this issue will be corrected in the release versionen… and its not that it negatively effects your groups or data attached to them its that in versionens to come I hope to release a new feature that replaces the old groups directory… this wont be possible if your groups don’t have the correct meta values set…
